Using Critical Thinking for Better Decision Making This one day course is an opportunity to enhance your decision making skills to attain better business results. You will build a working knowledge of frameworks and tools that you will be able to apply right now in your own work. You'll be working with decision making opportunities that exist in your organization today. You'll develop your own techniques for applying what you will learn. You'll be able to answer the question – is critical thinking the most critical skill for leaders?

 


Program Description

The need for the clearest of thinking with the most accurate, relevant information is a must. "Of course", you say. This course is the foundation for such if you are going to be at the top of your game. There is so much to account for if your decisions are going to be the best possible. Every framework and angle must be accounted for. Let's not forget about how essential critical thinking is for innovation, the lifeblood of organizations. Total gut or coin tossing won't work as well as they used to. This course will bring you to the point where you (Sherlock) will be able to say, "That is precisely correct, Dr. Watson".

Instructor

Robert Preziosi, DPA

Dr. Preziosi is a professor of management with the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. In December of 2000, he was named "Professor of the Decade." In 1997, he received the school's first "Excellence in Teaching Award." Among other capacities, Bob has served as human resources director, line manager, business school dean, and leadership training administrator. He has been vice president of management development and training for a Fortune 50 company. Bob's consulting experience spans all levels of management in organizations such as American Express, AT&T, and Chubb, as well as numerous government agencies, hospitals, and banks.
