Dr. Cynthia Ruppel is a Professor of Information Technology in the Decision Sciences Department of the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining NSU, Dr. Ruppel taught at the University of Toledo, Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and The University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels including executive education.

Her publications have appeared in IEEE Transactions on Professional Communications, The Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), e-Service Journal, and Database as well as other journals and publications. She has also served on several dissertation committees and serves as a reviewer for several publications and is a member of the editorial review board for the International Journal of e-Collaboration. Her professional activities also include serving as an Associate Editor for the ICIS conference and a track co-chair for the AIS conference.
