The H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship (Huizenga College), through its Executives and Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EEiR) program, provides its business students with opportunities to engage with accomplished executives and entrepreneurs from the business community.
This program exemplifies the Huizenga College's commitment to its students, as well as NSU's Mission and Core Values. The mentoring sessions offered through the Executives and Entrepreneurs-in-Residence program allow business students to learn about the business environment, beyond the formal curriculum and classroom setting.
Executives and Entrepreneurs visit the Carl DeSantis building on the main campus throughout the academic year attending prescheduled mentoring sessions and events with students and faculty. Sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience, executives and entrepreneurs inspire Huizenga College undergraduate and graduate business students as they prepare for their future business careers. Students meet one-on-one with business leaders to discuss career goals, business opportunities, and business plans. In addition to one-on-one meetings, students have access to the executives and entrepreneurs in group settings through networking sessions, club meetings, and class sessions. Through these activities, as well as their collaborations with faculty, participants of the Executives and Entrepreneurs-in-Residence program engage with both students and faculty.
