Jetting in from New York to be in Residence with us on November 10, Alan Koenigsberg assumed his current role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (FORTUNE #23) in 2013. Based in London prior to that, he spent 11 years with J.P. Morgan leading the payments and treasury divisions covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and prior to that he was with American Express for 14 years. Keeping ahead of ever-increasing customer demand to transact business worldwide and virtually instantly, Alan's 25-year career delivering safe but state-of-the-art banking and payment services is a case study of business leadership with lessons for all, not just finance majors.
