Harbour Real Estate invests in commercial real estate, providing capital, raising capital, acquiring properties, and forming profitable joint ventures. Seth began in 1971, forming a series of SEC registered Limited Partnerships and over time acquiring and operating a $2 billion portfolio of commercial real estate. As Chairman/CEO, Seth took the company public in 1981 as First Capital, subsequently acquired by another public company in 1984, with Seth then serving as Vice Chairman. But he was far from done. In 1993, Seth started a residential mortgage origination company which he migrated in 1998 to a new platform -- called the Internet. Yes, kids, Seth Werner is the original founder of Mortgage.com, which became at the time the largest residential mortgage originator in the U.S. and an American e-commerce pioneer.
