Executive Director of Graduate Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Advising & Corporate Development Liza Sumulong is the Executive Director of Graduate Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Advising & Corporate Development. Overseeing a team of 25 professional and administrative staff with a focus on developing relationships with key industry businesses, Liza is dedicated to delivering high-quality service at all points of the student experience. The daughter of a physician and a nurse/administrator who ran their own internal medicine practice, Liza was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Florida. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Management from the University of Tampa. Liza began her 25+ year career at Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship as a student employee while pursuing her M.B.A. in Management. She then attained Graduate Certificates in Human Resource Management, Leadership, and Human Resource Development. She has served the College in a variety of roles including Marketing Coordinator, Academic Advisor, Regional Campus Recruiter, Cohort Coordinator for on-site degree programs, and Associate Director of Corporate Development, and her current role as Executive Director of Graduate Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Advising & Corporate Development.
