Ron Rosenzweig,
Co-Founder/Executive Chairman (Retired), Anadigics

Session Times: 10am, 11am, & 12pm

Ron Rosenzweig

Born and raised on the streets of Brooklyn, Ron Rosenzweig found his first professional opportunity at a large semiconductor company after earning his degree in chemical engineering from CCNY. He spent nine years in R&D product development on microchips, growing expertise across all major drivers of this booming industry – from invention to finance to manufacture to securing key supplier contracts. At age 31, Ron struck out on his own, co-founding Microwave Semiconductor Corporation (MSC). In just three years he scaled the company to a successful public offering. Eight years later, MSC was acquired by an international tech conglomerate for a “very satisfying” profit to all shareholders. Soon Ron partnered with two co-founders again to build a new company, and Anadigics was born in 1985. Anadigics became known as an innovator in integrated circuits, not only patenting numerous products but being credited with pioneering high-volume, cost-effective manufacturing processes in its sector. After raising $80 million in venture capital over a 10-year period to scale up the company, Ron took Anadigics public in 1995. At its market peak it received a $3 billion valuation on $250 million in sales, with 700 employees. Now retired, Ron splits his residence between New York and South Florida, where he volunteers his expertise to organizations advancing contemporary art, fashion, technology, start-ups, and – luckily for NSU students – now coaching the next generation seeking to become leaders in their fields.
