Adam Povlitz,

Adam Povlitz

Adam D. Povlitz is the President of Anago Cleaning Systems, an international franchised commercial cleaning company with over 1,400 units across the U.S. and Canada. He is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and an ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standards Expert. Prior to joining Anago, Mr. Povlitz was employed by IBM where he served as the Growth Initiatives and Expense Analyst for IBM North America & Sales Distribution. In 2009, he joined Anago in order to make a greater impact on a smaller organization. While working his way through every position in the local master franchise office and then again at the corporate office, Adam learned valuable business and communication skills which led to his eventual promotion to President in April 2015. Mr. Povlitz also holds an MBA from the University of Miami and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Nova Southeastern University.

Gary Blandino

Gary Blandino's decades-long career in the technology and telecommunications area included many positions as a chief liaison for channel partners aligned with companies including AT&T, Sun Microsystems and Cisco Systems. He managed client relationships, executed the company’s sales strategy and provided direct servicing to enterprise business accounts. His experience not only includes leading sales teams, process design and contract negotiations, but contract analytics, network analytics and designing analytics reviews to drive customer satisfaction. Now retired, mentoring the next generation on the importance of technology to every business enterprise and individual career is a passion of his. Luckily for us, Gary's Shark connection (NSU-MBA) has brought his passion back to our campus, to the great benefit of our students.

A 2013 NSU-MBA alumnus, Alix Alexis embodies the Shark motto, "Prepare to Dominate." Alix began his professional career in 2009 as a management development associate with PNC Bank. There, he learned every aspect of running a Financial Banking Center. He spent five years at PNC, the last three leading his own Banking Center in Ft. Lauderdale. Armed with his new MBA, in 2014 Alix was ready for a new entrepreneurial challenge. He set out to start building his own financial advisory practice by joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, a leading investment advisory firm with about 15,000 advisors. Today he is a Senior Portfolio Advisor and Managing Partner of The Alexis & Heller Group, a team of three advisors and one client associate. With a banking and finance background along with his insurance and investment advisory experience, he helps his clients cover the gaps in their financial strategies. Alix has already built an impressive client base including corporate executives, healthcare and legal professionals, small business owners, retirees and professional athletes.
