As a graduate student, I believe that creating an engaged learning environment is as much my responsibility as it is my professors and peers. I’ve learned that by actively engaging in class discussions, and soliciting feedback from both my professors and peers, I learn differing perspectives that expand my professional and scholarly knowledge. My advice to fellow graduate students is to embrace learning about new ideas and to be actively engaged in their academic journey.
