NSU's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce its Business Intelligence / Analytics scholarship for the year 2019-20. This scholarship was made possible through a generous donation from Mr. Per-Olof Loof.
The scholarship will be based on assessment of student applicants by a panel of judges in the following areas: Academic performance, research and scholarship, community engagement and professional accomplishments. In addition to current performance and accomplishments, the assessment will also consider potential for future development.
The scholarship is open to all students who are currently enrolled in the Huizenga College MBA program with a concentration in Business Intelligence / Analytics and have completed a least two courses in the MBA program. Those who are interested in applying for this scholarship must submit the Per-Olof Loof Scholarship Application package.
Award Amount: The winner(s) of this competition will receive a scholarship of up to $12,500.

Requirements:
The Scholarship Application package must be completed and sent to loof.scholarship@nova.edu by due date January 10th 2020.
The Application package will consist of the following:
- Completed Application Qualifier form
- Current transcripts to show academic standing and NSU cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
- Current résumé
- Supporting documents to indicate academic awards and scholarly accomplishments (including research projects, conference presentations, etc.).
- Supporting documents to indicate community and professional engagement in the advancement of the Business Intelligence/Analytics discipline (for example, actively participating in student organizations, serving as student officer in student organizations, service to community and NSU corporate partners, accomplishments in the organization where employed, etc.).
Selection Process:
A committee/panel of judges will be responsible for evaluating the submissions and selecting the candidates. The committee/panel will comprise of three/four HCBE faculty members, an administration member, and Mr. Per-Olof Loof (or his representative).
The committee/panel of judges may request the selected candidates to submit additional information (for example, written essay) and/or invite them for a personal interview.
The committee/panel of judges will make a final selection of candidates to award the scholarship. The scholarship recipients will be finalized and notified around February 10th 2020. (The total amount of up to $12,500 will be shared by the winners).
