  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or for students with degrees from foreign institutions, an official foreign academic evaluation stating equivalent bachelor’s degree, must be submitted from a NACES organization www.naces.org 
  • Students who have earned a degree from a foreign non-English speaking country must submit English proficiency test scores, (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo, ELS)
  • Additional documents and may be required along with the GMAT or GRE based on review by the admissions committee.

* Course may be waived at the discretion of the department chair or designee. Waivers will only be considered when an equivalent course with a grade of C has been earned in the past 10 years

** Not required if previously taken with a grade of B in the past 8 years.

Students have three options for satisfying a program prerequisite course:

  1. Complete course(s) offered by the H. Wayne Huizenga Collee of Business and Entrepreneurship (HCBE);
  2. Complete a proficiency examination administrated by a testing organization that has national recognition, such as CLEP and DANTES. Students selecting this option must complete the requirements within their first two semesters with HCBE. After the second semester, courses must be completed with HCBE. Official transcripts must be received by the office of Academic Advising one week prior to register for courses requiring the prerequisite requirement.
  3. Complete the course with another regionally accredited institution. Students should obtain verification from an academic advisor regarding course equivalency at another institution. Students will need to supply a course description for initial evaluation. A course syllabus may be required if additional review is needed.
