Leadership for High Performance

Leadership for High Performance Organizations have a choice to become high performing or not. You read about organizations that are admired for their success and how they deal with employees and other resources. It is a conscious effort with a deep commitment to the desired result. You can be a champion for high performance.

Program Description

Explore the importance of leadership in your organization, and its role in creating and sustaining a high performance culture. This program evaluates high performing organizations, their characteristics, and the role of leadership in a high performance environment. During this program, you will: discover the effect of leaders on followers, evaluate the issues facing all groups and teams, participate in exercises to demonstrate inter-group dynamics and strengthen the engagement quotient.

Learning Outcomes

~  Discuss the difference between leadership and management
~  Appreciate the need for a balance of both leadership and management skills
~  Examine current research on effective leadership skills
~  Identify leadership "best practices," and begin to change your individual leadership skills


This program is designed for:

~  Managers, directors and professionals who are helping to lead their organizations towards 2020
~  Professionals who are taking the initiative to meet the changing needs of customers
~  Business owners and executive leaders who want high-performance organizations
~  Business leaders with active roles in creating and sustaining a high performance culture

Program Dates / Locations

While this course is not scheduled at this time, any of the executive education programs offered by the Hudson Center of Entrepreneurship and Executive Education (HCEEE) can be delivered to your organization either in our classroom or at your location. Please contact us for more information.

Program Fee

Fee of $395 includes tuition, instructional materials and lunch.


Robert Preziosi, DPA

Dr. Preziosi is a professor of management with the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. In December of 2000, he was named "Professor of the Decade." In 1997, he received the College's first "Excellence in Teaching Award." Among other capacities, Bob has served as human resources director, line manager, business school dean, and leadership training administrator. He has been vice president of management development and training for a Fortune 50 company. Bob's consulting experience spans all levels of management in organizations such as American Express, AT&T, and Chubb, as well as numerous government agencies, hospitals, and banks.

Course Customization

Using core programs, we can customize the material to fit your corporate training needs. With our extensive resources and program facilitators, we will design a program that is tailored to fit your specified objectives and requirements.

Substitution, Cancellation, Fee and Transfer Policies

We realize that occasionally you need to cancel your registration. You can substitute another individual in your place at any time prior to the first day of a program.

If you wish to receive a credit toward a future program: we will allow you to transfer you registration to a future date of the same program you are enrolled in currently, provided we receive written notice two weeks prior to the start date of the class you are currently registered in. You are permitted to re-register only one time.

If you wish to receive a refund: written cancellations received 30 calendar days before a program begins will be issued a full refund, less a $150.00 processing fee; written cancellations received 6 to 29 calendar days prior to the start of a program will get 50 percent of the registration fee refunded. We apologize but we cannot provide a refund if we receive your written cancellation in five or fewer business days prior to the start of the program.

In the event of non-payment, the responsibility for any fees incurred in collecting the payment is the responsibility of the customer.
