In addition to offering online courses as a learning option, we have implemented a BlendFlex educational model that offers in-class instruction, synchronous remote instruction, and online taped lecture instruction.
Be a Leader Who Motivates and Inspires
Today’s modern workplace requires managers with a people-centric focus. According to a study of more than 2,000 employees, 47% of people looking for new jobs said “company culture” was the main reason (Hays). As an HRM professional you’ll lead the charge on developing employees and generating a positive working environment that people want to plant roots in.
The M.S. in Human Resource Management program at NSU is designed for working adults who seek career advancement in Human Resource and other essential departments like Labor Relations, Payroll, Recruiting, and Training and Development. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Human Resources Managers is growing at a rate faster than the national average for all occupations. With your master’s degree, you’ll have new opportunities to increase your salary and become a leader.
Did you know? NSU is one of only three schools in Florida that offer an M.S. in HRM, and our program is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management.
In this program, you’ll gain a working knowledge of planning, organizing, and managing HRM systems including hands-on instruction for how to design and direct these systems. You’ll learn how to use analytics to implement strategies for different workplace scenarios and have the opportunity to analyze an aspect of your current organization’s efforts. You’ll also get to meet with HR executives across South Florida during select “Mentoring Mondays.”
The M.S. in Human Resource Management at NSU will give you the confidence you need to advocate for employees, improve processes, and accelerate your career.
