Dr. Will Hawks is a Florida native with 15+ years of leadership experience developing strategy, driving collegiate student affairs & engagement, creating best-in-class people management tools & processes, delivering impactful development experiences, and enhancing team performance outcomes worldwide.

His community, professional, and scholastic efforts have garnered recognition from several organizations and individuals, including President Barack Obama.

Dr. Hawks currently serves as Principal Consultant of Dr. Hawks Consulting, LLC and Assistant Professor of Management at the Nova Southeastern University H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Hawks served as the Senior Manager (Chief of Staff to the corporate VP) for global employee and labor relations at a Fortune 40 conglomerate having 195K+ employees and annual revenue of $70B+. In this role he led creation and continuous improvement of best-in-class positive employee relations strategy implementation, change management (restructuring, merger, divestitures, COVID-19, etc.), contingency planning, vendor management, learning & development experiences, workplace culture analysis, and other initiatives across Asian, European, and North American countries.

Dr. Hawks received an Associate of Arts in General Education from Tallahassee Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (summa cum laude) with a Pre-Law minor from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. He received a Master of Science in Management and multiple accolades for civic engagement, scholarship, & leadership from the Wake Forest University School of Business.

Dr. Hawks received a Doctorate in Education specializing in Organizational Change & Leadership from the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education (USC). His innovation-focused research was nominated for a USC Dissertation of Distinction Award.

Dr. Hawks recently received a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.

Dr. Hawks is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Child Welfare League of America, and an academic member of the Academy of Management.
