Born and raised on Long Island, New York and in Hollywood, Florida. Schools: junior high - Coindre Hall; High School - LaSalle Military Academy; College - Georgia State University - BBA/Accounting; Law School - Nova Southeastern University - JD; Post-doctorate degree - University of the Pacific/McGeorge School of Law - LLM - Business & Taxation/Transnational Practice. Work after graduation from college: CPA firms, all International, including KPMG/Peat Marwick and Touche Ross; ran own CPA firm; after law school - Assistant State Attorney for Florida's 15th Judicial Circuit, including serving as a division chief; Chief Legal Counsel for Florida Department of Insurance's Insurance Fraud Division and Director of Public Services and Support for Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office; Adjunct Professor Nova Southeastern University's Huizenga School of Business for over 25 years Florida and California Bar Associations – Admitted to practice in Florida, California and before the United States Supreme Court and the Middle, Northern and Southern United States District Courts Palm Beach County Inns of Court Certified Public Accountant – Florida Assessment Administration Specialist – International Association of Assessing Officers Certified National Instructor - International Association of Assessing Officers Certified Florida Financial Examiner – Florida Department of Revenue Community Activities & Hobbies Kiwanis - “Serving the Children of the World” by strengthening family relations and serving the world’s children; service includes: Florida District governor ( was Governor of the #1 District in the Kiwanis World, earning the Presidential Citation, the highest level of distinction awarded), governor-elect, treasurer, Committee Chairman, most outstanding lieutenant-governor , distinguished club president, immediate past president, vice president and director. Parents Without Partners, International (PWP) –in this organization, which then had 250,000 members; I held many offices at local, regional, district and international office, including International Chairman of the Board. Duplicate Bridge – Achieved American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Ruby Life Master status, thus ranking in the top 20% of players worldwide in that organization. Traveling and Reading – These two activities go hand and hand and I enjoy both.
